StatClinix™ installs CodoniXnotes in four offices
Phoenix, AZ-August 13, 2007 StatClinix, an urgent care and rehabilitative services company with four locations in the Phoenix Arizona area has implemented CodoniXnotes at each of their clinics. The StatClinix centers are designed to treat minor injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening, but do require prompt attention. StatClinix installed CodoniXnotes in their first clinic last year as a test and now has it up and running at all four of their clinics. The CodoniXnotes application is hosted for StatClinix by ASPenLink, a health care outsourcing and billing services company which is also an authorized CodoniXnotes reseller. President and CEO Greg Reser of StatClinix said that the implementation of CodoniXnotes has resulted in significant improvements in efficiency and patient service. “Our patient documentation has improved dramatically and the resulting billing increases have exceeded our expectation. CodoniX captures everything that is done during the patient encounter and it isn’t necessary to rely on using the proper wording when dictating to get paid at the appropriate level for the visit.”
The use of ASPenLink as a hosting company for the application meant that there was no hardware or additional software to purchase and that there were no networking issues that needed to be addressed when installing the application. Chief Operating Officer, Mary McGuire said “Choosing CodoniXnotes through ASPenLink meant that we just had to have workstations where we needed them and high speed connectivity to the Internet and we were ready to go.”
ASPenLink provides all of the IT support required, which reduces StatClinix’s overhead significantly. In addition, CodoniXnotes provides all of the CPT codes and their associated ICD9 and diagnostic codes directly to the ASPenLink billing software which reduces costs and improves turn around time and cash flow.
