Georgia Emergency Associates chooses CodoniX for three immediate care centers
Potomac, MD October 1, 2009 CodoniX announced today that it has signed an agreement with Georgia Emergency Associates of Savannah, GA to provide the CodoniXnotes for Urgent Care application for use in three immediate care clinics in Savannah, Statesboro, and Garden City Georgia.
The Immediate Care Centers are a partnership between St. Joseph's/Candler Health System and Georgia Emergency Associates. These centers are dedicated to taking care of those everyday illnesses and injuries that do not require the resources of a hospital emergency department. Every patient is seen by an experienced, board-certified physician. The physicians are supported by a staff of LPN's, paramedics, and radiology techs who help provide on-site lab and x-ray testing.No appointment is necessary and the goal is to provide patients with prompt and courteous medical care in a professional and caring manner.
The CodoniXnotes system provides a total solution for urgent care facilities. Patients are registered in the system at the front desk and placed on the tracker board where their progress is documented and followed by medical and administrative
staff. Orders for labs and X Rays can be placed and results and findings added to the chart. Prescriptions can be written and submitted electronically or printed out for the patient. The final chart is coded automatically and audited to CMS
standards for optimum reimbursement. A “super bill” and receipt is generated for the patient and all billing information is instantly available to the billing department or can be sent electronically to a billing company.
