CodoniX Signs Three New Urgent Cares
Potomac, MD September 12, 2008. CodoniX recently signed three new urgent care facilities to licensing agreements for the CodoniXnotes™ for Urgent Care application. RapidMD of Laurelton, NY, Navarre Urgent Care of Navarre, FL, and Convenient Care of Columbia, MD are all up and running using this powerful EMR/Practice Management solution designed specifically for the needs of urgent care clinics.
The CodoniXnotes system provides a total solution for urgent care facilities. Patients are registered in the system at the front desk and placed on the tracker board where their progress is documented and followed by medical and administrative staff. Orders for labs and X Rays can be placed and results and findings added to the chart. Prescriptions can be written and submitted electronically or printed out for the patient. The final chart is coded automatically and audited to CMS standards for optimum reimbursement. A “super bill” and receipt is generated for the patient and all billing information is instantly available to the billing department or can be sent electronically to a billing company.
“We are very pleased with the addition of these three busy urgent care clinics to our customer list” said Dr. Andrew Muchmore founder and Chairman of CodoniX. “Urgent Care facilities are an extremely important market to us, and we have continued to update and refine the CodoniXnotes for Urgent Care application to ensure that it meets the unique needs of this growing market. The CodoniXnotes workflow is designed to mimic that of a well run Urgent Care so that clinics can continue to operate without changing their current workflow or business practices. Our software is designed to be intuitive and easy to use for both clinicians and administrative personnel and very little training is required. In most cases, users are able to productively use our system with only two to three hours of web based training.”
